Some American advertising company has come up with a very interesting way to sell a pen… be afraid… be very afraid! Small point though: what has identity theft got to do with cheque washing?
While watching Elbow live at Abbey Road on Monday, Nancy spotted this scandalous bit of plagiarism. It appears that ‘One Day Like This’, the song that basically won Elbow the Mercury Prize, was copied from the classic theme tune to ‘Dogtanian and the Muskahounds’. If you don’t believe it, listen to the Elbow track at about 2:08 in, then compare that to Dogtanian!
Then again… maybe not.
